This jersey was worn by Chris Luongo of the Ottawa Senators during the 1992-93 season, the Senators inaugural NHL season. Sewn on the jersey is the Stanley Cup 100th Anniversary patch which all teams wore during the 1992-93 season. Luongo played in 76 games that season, recording 12 points in his most productive NHL season.
This jersey was then worn by Brian Glynn of the Ottawa Senators during the 1993-94 preseason, and unexpectedly, for two games during the 1993-94 regular season as well. The Senators wore their new white 1993-94 home jerseys for games against Quebec and Dallas in early October 1993. Following the Dallas game, the jerseys were sent to the dry cleaners where they were then stolen. The Senators ended up having to wear their 1992-93 jerseys from the previous season for two games – October 25 against Anaheim and October 27 against Philadelphia – while a new set of jerseys were prepared. A new white set of jerseys was put into service on November 11. Glynn recorded an assist in each of the 1993-94 regular season games that he wore this jersey.
